RTW- Supporting stars

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered.  This weeks questions

What supporting character from a YA book would you most like to see star in their own novel?

Dumbledore
I know we learned a little about some of his adventures in the Harry Potter books but I'd still love to see more of Albus Dumbledore's adventures.

Ethan from the Dreaming Anastasia series by Joy Preble.  OK so Ethan is part of this Brotherhood that has was supposed to protect Anastasia.  He's like 100 years old.  He has blue eyes and he isn't cold like Edward.  I want to know more about his adventures protecting Anastasia all these years.

I agree with you on Dumbledore! And it looks like I need to add the Dreaming Anastasia series to my reading list.

I'll have to think about this one for other books I've read. Hmmm...

So we would see younger Dumbledore? That's awesome.

I have the first Dreaming Anastasia book on my TBR pile. I might go ahead and crack that open--sounds like Ethan is an interesting character.

A Dumbledore book would be so much fun! Great choice.

Oooo, a Dumbledore prequel! Yes, I'd definitely read that!

I think pretty much any side character from the Harry Potter series would be interesting as a main character. Though if we're doing adults, I'd pick Snape over Dumbledore. What about Voldemort as a teen? That could be a fun book!

Doubledore would be awesome, especially as a younger man. I'm sure he had a life full of adventure. Great choice!
