D- Dumbledore

D- Dumbledore. There is so much to love about Dumbledore. He sees the good in people. He trusts people. He allows his students the space to learn, grow and make mistakes.  Sometimes he makes mistakes himself. He gives wonderful advice. He's an amazing wizard. I love that despite the fact that he is a very powerful wizard he doesn't swoop in and fix things.

What is your favorite thing about Dumbledore?

I love how he'll do/say/give something that seems to have no point and makes no sense and then next thing you know-bam-whatever he did/said/gave comes right into play. Great D choice!

Snape, Snape, Severus Snape...DUMBLEDORE! I'm so glad you posted about him. He's my hero. I love that he's the only wizard that Voldemort is scared of. Great post and happy A-Z blogging.

"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." ~ A. Dumbledore

That is why I love him as a character. He's the voice of reason, the guiding presence and the champion we all wish we had in our corners.

Great D choice, Carrie!

I have yet to read the Harry Potter series...I know, I'm a failure. My daughter gave me the series for Christmas so it's on my list to read. I have, however, seen the movies so I know his character and I don't think you could have picked a better one. He's everyone's wise grandfather.

I can't add anything to what you've already said about why I love Dumbledore. Great D choice and I'm glad to see an HP character making an appearance! :)

My favorite scenes are when he has heart to hearts with Harry. You feel like he is the father figure for Harry and that he truly loves him. I was in denial that he really died.
