RTW- Under Cover

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. What are your all-time favorite book covers?

I love all the Harry Potter covers. For me seeing the cover was part of the fun of waiting for the new book to come out.

I loved Dash and Lily's Book of Dares. I want to read it again this Christmas.

Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick. As beautiful inside as it is out.

Dreaming Anastasia by Joy Preble

What's Wrong With To Kill A Mockingbird?

I love this book. Whenever I see this cover I want to read it again.

The cover of To Kill a Mockingbird caught my attention, too. It was mandatory reading for me in 9th grade, but I didn't mind once I saw the cover :) Oh, and the Dash and Lily cover is AWESOME! Good choices.

I'm loving that Dash and Lily cover. In fact, I'm loving it so much I think I'm adding it to Goodreads.

Wow, Wonderstruck is amazing. It's not often you see the title meld so well with the cover art like that.

Dreaming Anastasia is beautiful too. I might have to look both of these up at the library!

I agree with you about the Harry Potter books. Each cover with its shiny title was like icing on the cake. And I loved the colors and the mood each of them had. My favorite HP cover was Goblet of Fire.

Yes, the Harry Potter covers are wonderful. They're all pieces of art.

The To Kil A Mockingbird cover I own and love is this:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2657.To_Kill_a_Mockingbird.

I know it's not the traditional version you read in high school but I love the colors and simplicity.
