Ferris Wheel Wishes

Every year I visit the Minnesota State Fair. Who am I kidding I visit several times. But part of my tradition always includes a ride on the ferris wheel.

Since I haven't been in school in a while my annual ferris wheel ride takes the place of my back to school restart. While I'm suspended high above the hustle and bustle of the fair I usually think about the end of summer and the beginning of fall. I think about goals I have for the fall. While I'm floating above the fair I usually make wishes as well.

Do you have an end of summer, beginning of fall restart? New school supplies, classes or recommitment to writing.

What a wonderful tradition! I usually go on a long walk when the heat breaks (which won't be for another month, probably), and think about what I want to accomplish.

I'm not a State Fair lover. (As a MN resident am I allowed to actually admit that?) :-) I blame it on the fact that I didn't grow up in MN...

What a cool thing--goals and wishes as you soar above the fair!

We also hit the state fair twice this year, though once was just for dinner. We don't really have traditions, unless it revolves around what foods to eat

LOVELY! We do a really nice little small-town fair most years (but this year the kids were sick that weekend and we didn't go).
I really don't feel like Fall is Fall until Halloween rolls around. :0)
