X- is for Luxe. OK yeah I'm totally cheating but I haven't read a lot of books that start with X but this has an X in it. The Luxe is set in Manhattan in 1899. In this book Elizabeth Holland has to chose between money and love. I love reading about this time period and all that was expected of young women back then.
Do you like historical fiction?

Hey, I totally cheated, too, with "eXception"!!! Visiting from A to Z Challenge, obviously, and am suddenly interested in reading the book! Thanks for the suggestion! Blog on and finish strong!

I love historical...but I sometimes forget that I do. The Luxe series was so soapy and over the top sometimes, but I couldn't help myself. I totally loved it. I think I read all four books in like a week and a half.
I enjoyed this historical Gossip Girls.
I think I cheated on X last year too...any title with an x in it would do.
I have Luxe on my e-reader, waiting for me to gobble it up. I read Bright Young Things by the same author and semi-enjoyed it, so I'm hoping Luxe will be a lot better. I cheat on my "x", too--we talked about "x-ams" tee hee!
